17 Ιουν 2020 · Lake Aloha tends to be a super popular backpacking destination during the summer. It’s right on the Pacific Crest Trail, Tahoe Rim Trail, and only a 6 mile hike from the trailhead, less when the water taxi is running! But we found complete desolation when we visited in the winter. It’s a harder trip, but so worth it!
