The University has set goals for undergraduate student achievement in several key, interdependent areas: Four-year graduation rate. Six-year graduation rate. Percentage of first-time-in-college (FTIC) students with cumulative grade point averages below 2.0 in freshman year.
Since 2000, Texas institutions have shown impressive increases in graduation rates. Further improvement, particularly in on-time graduation rates (four years at universities, two years at community and technical colleges), will be necessary to achieve the goals of 60x30TX.
