What is graduate destination data? Destination data is information on the outcomes of qualifications – in this case, university degrees. This examines who took different qualifications, and what they did with them – did they go into work? What sort of job did they get? Were they studying a postgraduate qualification?

These indicators need to include capabilities beyond short-term employability skills, to encompass broader employment outcomes and the changing world of work.
6 Μαΐ 2024 · Information about the destination of graduates from the University. An annual survey is carried out for everyone who has graduated (in the previous academic year) from any university or HE college in the UK, on behalf of the Government’s Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA).
Graduate destinations. In the UK higher education system, the Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey was undertaken until 2016-17 (when it was replaced by the new Graduate Outcomes exercise).
Destination of Leavers from the Graduate Outcomes Survey (Home, EU and Overseas): In 2022: 60% of all graduates had entered employment; 25% had engaged in a course of study, training or research; 4% were unemployed and looking for work; 3% were doing something else; 2% were taking time out to travel (this does not include short-term holidays);
The Graduate Destination Survey aims to bring information on our graduate’s experience at the university, post-graduation employment patterns, further study destinations, volunteer work, and other activities they are involved in.
