With Destiny 2 running, Go to Settings -> Sound -> App Volume and device preferences (at the bottom under Advanced sound options), find Destiny 2 in the list and set the Output Input dropdowns to Default or you could use the Reset to defaults at the bottom of the window.
Simply disabling in-game voice chat, or the "Headset" device in recording devices on your Windows computer will rectify the issue.
