Obsidian is a note taking application that Destiny currently uses to aggregate and publish his research and readings on a wide variety of topics, as well as post other miscellaneous things such as his current blacklist or future topics to research.

I recently went on a quest to unlock all of the game's dungeons and struggled finding some of the information. I've managed to compile it all in one easy-to-read cheat sheet. If you like, you can save a copy and check off the ones you have unlocked.
For the fact based parts of your questions you can use square brackets to have that section link to another note or a header or line within a note; you can also hover on links to get a preview. I’ve used Obsidian for my undergrad and now in my masters program, and internal links have definitely helped me a ton.
