Dethklok is a fictional melodic death metal band featured in the Adult Swim animated television series Metalocalypse, known for its satirical or parodic lyrical themes. The first official Dethklok album was released on September 25, 2007, entitled The Dethalbum.
It premiered on August 6, 2006. The television program centers on the larger-than-life melodic death metal band Dethklok, and often portrays dark and macabre content, including such subjects as violence, death, and the drawbacks of fame, with hyperbolic black comedy.
The show follows virtual death metal band Dethklok. The majority of the music featured this season was released on the 2007 album, The Dethalbum. [1][2][3] In late March 2013, this season became available on Netflix. In May 2015, this season became available on Hulu Plus.
