Devil's Den State Park is in the Lee Creek Valley in the Boston Mountains, which are the southwestern part of The Ozarks. The park, with an 8 acres (3.2 ha) CCC-built lake, is open for year-round recreation, with trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding.
5 Ιουν 2024 · Devil’s Den State Park is in northwest Arkansas’s Ozarks Mountains, with abundant natural beauty and a rich history to discover. There’s much to see and do here, including notable mountain biking trails, camping, hiking, and swimming.
This is the perfect state park to take young children. Lots of easy hiking trails nearby, campsites and bathrooms are very clean and well stocked. If we went again, we would get a campsite in the middle of campgrounds A and not the outer edge.
I most enjoyed the main Devil's Den trail where very deep caves and crevices can be seen. It is well marked with red diamond image signs on the trees. Be sure to take a walking sticks/poles as much of the trail is rocky and steep.
