The ending of season 4 was phenomenal in many ways, and is easily my personal favorite ending of any of the seasons. The final shot of Dex carrying Harrison with the flashbacks of Harry carrying Dexter were some of the finest pieces of symbolism that I’ve seen in a show.
Dexter: New Blood's excellent finale was full of necessary, wrenching confrontations and an unfortunate murder that was crucial in completing Dexter's doomed journey.
