14 Ιουλ 2014 · The quest drop bug can be used on Andariel (permanently bugged), and all 4 of the other bosses (Duriel, Mephisto, Diablo, and Baal) being individually quest bugged each game with 2 specialized characters, or by joining specific public games.
You can quest bug Andariel which means every time you kill her, her loot chances are as good as the quest kill. To do this you simply go back to town, talk to Warriv and head straight to Act 2. To quest bug Duriel, you need a partner.
4 Οκτ 2021 · There are some exploits in d2 that you might consider “legacy” (skipping staff quest, rushing through classic, andi bug). But this one is clearly affecting all bosses and practically doubling their drops.
If you quest bugged andariel, the bug would override her normal drop table with the quest drop table (a better one). They patched the bug by making the normal table the same as the quest table. This way wether you "bug andy" or not, you always get the better drops.
If you're looking to take advantage of this "glitch" on one account, you have a character (A) that's already completed a given boss quest in one difficulty, and another character (B) that hasn't (e.g. Hell Mephisto).
12 Οκτ 2021 · I am stuck on Nightmare act 5 “rite of passage” quest where you need to kill the ancients to proceed into worldstone keep to kill Baal. Well, when i kill ancients, it says “quest cannot be completed in this game etc etc”…
2 Οκτ 2021 · Workaround is to open a town portal and re-activate the altar normally without telekinesis. Problematic interaction with Alkor in Act3 when trying to hand in both the Book Quest and Q1 item at the same time, Alkor gives book dialogue and ends dialogue and player has to attempt completion many times.
