14 Ιουλ 2014 · The quest drop bug can be used on Andariel (permanently bugged), and all 4 of the other bosses (Duriel, Mephisto, Diablo, and Baal) being individually quest bugged each game with 2 specialized characters, or by joining specific public games. Requirements: 1 main character (Magic Find Character).
4 Οκτ 2021 · It is easily possible to questbug all act bosses and quest bosses in every game for a signficant (2x) increase in drop chances.
If you quest bugged andariel, the bug would override her normal drop table with the quest drop table (a better one). They patched the bug by making the normal table the same as the quest table. This way wether you "bug andy" or not, you always get the better drops.
I'm planning on farming Mephisto a bunch when D2R comes out, and I'm considering whether or not I want to try and quest bug Mephisto for better drops. The way to do it would be to avoid finishing the Mephisto quest and only farm Mephisto in public chaos/baalruns.
17 Αυγ 2021 · I think this has been fixed in D2R, I’ve tested the bug with two different characters and the drops from Andy have been quite underwhelming (running 175% MF). Steps: Kill Andy. Take portal that summons after the quest is complete. Speak to Warriv and travel to Lut.
25 Οκτ 2024 · The new values are: 2 tanks maximum, 3 healers maximum, and 15 damage maximum. At a minimum, 1 tank, 1 healer, and 8 damage dealers are required. The Dornagal Worldsoul, Archive, and Delve quests should now always provide 2 tokens. Developers’ notes: These quests stick around for up to 3 weeks.
