Given its antibacterial properties, Dial soap can help clean the skin and reduce bacteria that can contribute to body acne. However, it’s not a specialized acne treatment, and overuse could potentially dry out the skin, which might exacerbate acne in some cases.
A dermatologist told my husband that dial soap is incredibly harsh. He had been using it due to a skin infection, but it was pretty much also destroying his healthy skin too. What worked for him was to trim body hair and shampoo the problem areas (he uses head&shoulders).
