1 Φεβ 2023 · This is a Tyro-stocked, US-import, RWS-marked very late model 60 from 1982: I picked up this beauty many years ago at the old Roanoke airgun show. The action and stock looked great, but the seals and springs were toast, and the gun was "naked" - no sights or barrel sleeve.

25 Αυγ 2017 · Lovely little rifle [thanks Zooma], it's the first in the line of 60/65/66 rifles; all pretty much the same except for no barrel catch on the '60'. The 65 has the barrel catch as an 'improvement' but my 60 has no trouble with barrel locking.

I think the diopter on the mod 60 was a rather heavier steel framed sight whereas the mod 65 had the lighter alloy model also used on the 75. It may just be that the examples of the 65/66 that I've seen had later pattern sights fitted, or that there was a transitional period between the two styles.
