19 Αυγ 2020 · I replaced the timing chain on a 2009 VW EOS 2.0T TSI in Feb 2020 (11 months ago). I do not know if something needs to be reset, although I have heard the Humble Mechanic discussing under VCDS UDS protocol, there is a Basic Setting IDE06716 "Timing Chain Elongation: reset after chain replacement".

8 Μαρ 2022 · I have 1.4 TSI (125HP) Leon 2011. I have 113k kilometers (70k miles) on the clock with the timing belt/chain still not replaced. It's not making any noises or anything, but am I supposed to replace it? At which interval?
23 Μαΐ 2021 · It was the early 1.4 TSI from 2009 that had the most issues. I think the kit was revised from around 2010 or 2011 onwards. So any new chain kit after this date should be the revised kit.
