30 Ιουν 2016 · Windows 10, PC connected HDMI to my Samsung TV, and digital optical out through a Realtek soundcard to my Pioneer receiver (DD and DTS capable). PC is a SHUTTLE SH67H3 PC. I have tried Realtek's R2.79 drivers Win10 x64. I have also tried the WIN10 x64 drivers from Shuttle's site (linked above).
17 Ιουλ 2021 · So I updated my Windows 10 to 1909 and the optical (TOSLINK) output device was simply removed from devices. The only digital output now visible is the 3.5 mm output (rear jack, not the TOSLINK one). I have ASUS Crosshair VII with motherboard's integrated audio.
19 Απρ 2021 · Once the optical cable is plugged in, click the speaker icon at the bottom-right corner of your Windows taskbar, then click the speaker name above the volume slider to see if an “Optical” or “Digital” sound output has shown up. If it has, just click to enable it.
Go to the Realtek Audio Console and digital output and see what options are available. You should be able to enable all sound through digital output via optical cable. But only 5.1 pre-mastered videos will be 5.1.

12 Φεβ 2019 · Reboot the machine once the driver is installed, to see if it works. If the issue persists, I suggest you install the latest Realtek drivers from your PC manufacturer’s website. Hope it helps.
