The dump station at the Ohanapecosh Campground is closed. The nearest dump station is located at the Maple Grove Resort 28 miles west on Hwy 12. Need to Know. Visitors with an Ohanapecosh Campground reservation will still need to obtain timed entry reservations to gain access to either the Paradise Corridor or the Sunrise Corridor.
The Ohanapecosh Campground and picnic area is located on the banks of the peaceful Ohanapecosh River, within a majestic old-growth forest. Like the visitor center, the campground is open from late May to early October.

You are away from a lot of the crowds that you find at the other two campgrounds within the park, and Ohanapecosh takes reservations. You can also do some pretty nice hikes right from your site, including Silver Falls, which are very nice.

Ohanapecosh Campground is located in the southeast corner of Mount Rainier National Park in Washington State, just off Highway 123. The campground is easily accessible from Seattle and Portland and can be reached in about 3 hours from either city.
