12 Δεκ 2016 · I found someone selling old lamiglas rods that were custom built. How can I tell if they're real lamiglas blanks and what kind of blanks they are? At 10', if it's a real lamiglas, could this be a gsb 1201l? The markings have been covered up by the wrappings, so are there other markings?
1 Ιουν 2003 · Unsanded and slightly softer in action, they were discontinued after S-glass became popular. Or so I read. How I remember them - I remember them being sanded, ie, the ridges from the tape was sanded, leaving the rod smooth. I also remember a much darker color than s-glass.
19 Ιουν 2013 · All have been two piece, tip over butt, glossy black, sanded blanks. None of were marked, but a few came in original Lami packaging. In general they feel like the Lamiglas Honey colored fiberglass two piece blanks.
21 Αυγ 2018 · Old school honey blanks, had to pull over. The long one is I think a cut down (butt end) 1164 aka 136 2F. No markings but it has a 12 tip 1.0butt and feels so sweet.
I'm trying to find all the old Lamiglas catalogs in pdf format so that I can look up some older blanks that I have been given by an old time rod builder. I have the numbers for the blanks but they don't match any thing in the 07 and 08 catalogs.

18 Δεκ 2014 · #1 · Dec 18, 2014. Hey all, I have a come across a sizable amount of vintage Lamiglas Blanks in various sizes and styles. All in very very good condition. I am curious if there is some way to figure out if they are worth anything? Is there a market for them out there? Any help would be really great. Sorry that I dont have more info.
