Lamni company has been "associated " with rolling blanks for well known glass builders to their individual specs. Now some will admit to this fact while others closely guard their specific blank sources.
12 Δεκ 2016 · I found someone selling old lamiglas rods that were custom built. How can I tell if they're real lamiglas blanks and what kind of blanks they are? At 10', if it's a real lamiglas, could this be a gsb 1201l? The markings have been covered up by the wrappings, so are there other markings?

Do any of you rod builders have experience with the Lamiglass x-factor rod blanks? I am specifically looking at the 7' UL, does anyone have any opinions about these blanks?
23 Φεβ 2020 · anyone have any feedback/reviews on the lami walleye blanks. specifically the forrest green LW 801 M , 6'8" , 3/16-5/8 6-12 lb.. and possibly the LW 841 MT (not sure what the T designation is for.) description says walleye jigging rods, fast action sensitive tip.
The blank is a rich glossy jet black, and the graphite material in the blend allowed Todd to design a blank that does not have a large diameter butt section like many glass blanks. I used an off-the-shelf Bob Venneri reel seat for this rod, and it fit perfectly.
I’ve heard mixed reviews. I have one rod that I love and has been great for me - no problems at all. I think they are working their way out of a rough patch for QC. The guys I know with money are all about edge and talon rods at the moment.
