7 Ιουν 2020 · Does anyone know if I can visually tell the difference between calstars e glass blanks and the glass/composite blanks (the gg series)? I ordered a btg90j (Graphite/glass) and they sent me a blank with a calstar bt90j sticker.
20 Αυγ 2011 · Calstar is a very reputable company that stands behind their products, that is why they are one of the largest saltwater specialty rod and blank manufactures on the west coast (not because they cheat people).

4 Μαΐ 2011 · They also carry Phenix, Seeker, Calstar, and several other blanks. Yes, Am Tackle is part of Mudhole, but Mudhole doesn't just sell Am Tackle products! At their blank price range, they are more affordable for people who can't afford a $210 RPS, $140 Phenix, or $190 Black Hole.
21 Σεπ 2009 · Sorry about your experience with the Calstar blank and broken rod guides. I have fished Calstar blanks for quite some time and long ago I had a problem or two with guides. I learned a valuable lesson.
22 Ιουλ 2009 · I usually use rainshadow blanks but calstar seems to be pretty tuna specialized if you guys got some input that would be great. I am thinking about the rclb from rainshadow but don't know if they would double as a swimbait rod, or the calstar graphiters.
4 Οκτ 2014 · The one thing I'm struggling to find is an ideal rod blank to use. I'm looking for a 7-6' or even an 8' blank for $40-60 price range. The only one I'm finding that seems to fit the bill, is this: Gator B12-50-76.
