20 Αυγ 2011 · Most shops "local" to Calstar stock full length blanks because they don't have to use UPS or others to get the blanks. We either pick them up, or the rep drops them off. Many dealers (like us) that stock full length blanks and offer them for sale "shipped", don't advertise them at 108" O.A.L.
7 Ιουν 2020 · I ordered a btg90j (Graphite/glass) and they sent me a blank with a calstar bt90j sticker. But it’s a really fast action blank and so I don’t know if the blank is mislabeled or if I in fact got the right blank.
3 Σεπ 2016 · Hi all: I've been primarily a Calstar guy, and about two months ago, I ordered 2 blanks through my local tackle shop (a 700XH and 7400H). I'm still waiting and it seems as if there's no timeline as to when they might actually come in.
4 Μαΐ 2011 · They also carry Phenix, Seeker, Calstar, and several other blanks. Yes, Am Tackle is part of Mudhole, but Mudhole doesn't just sell Am Tackle products! At their blank price range, they are more affordable for people who can't afford a $210 RPS, $140 Phenix, or $190 Black Hole.
11 Οκτ 2022 · Calstar manufactures their own rods and blanks in California using very tested materials and designs. They aren’t bringing in commodity blanks with silly advertising hype. If you like them, it seems as reasonable to try them as anything else.
21 Σεπ 2009 · Only fished it a year but I built a rod this year on a Calstar blank and I love it. Built an oversized sturgeon rod for a friend about 10 years ago and it is holding up well. I have to agree that the blanks are fine but it sure sounds like the factory rods have some problems.
22 Ιαν 2012 · There is no question in my mind that the calstar graphiters are far more duarable than any of the others mentioned. Not even close. In fact the claims that Calstar make are proven. Calstar blanks have caught more tuna on the west coast than all other blank mfgrs combined.
