19 Απρ 2010 · Windows Explorer doesn't see the ISO files under C:\, and even command prompt (dir, dir /a) fails to see them. However, if I do a search for iso files, the iso files are returned in the search results. Properties on the iso files indicate nothing unusual (not hidden, not missing permission, etc).
I used DVD shrink to create an ISO file and saved it into C:\. The ISO file is visible with some programs but not with others. The file is not hidden as far as I am aware. But it cannot be seen by Windows Explorer, DVD Decrypter or a bunch of other programs.

22 Αυγ 2022 · C: Drive not showing in File Explorer. As you can see below the C: drive doesn’t appear in file explorer but does appear in Disk Management. The volume also has the letter assigned in diskpart. I’ve tried sfc/scannow and chkdsk c: /f and checked it’s not hidden in local policy.
