23 Νοε 2012 · I plan to use my Chevy Colorado pickup and it needs something to hold up the rear of the canoe, the loader I'm looking at seems to be a good choice, about $100, uses my existing sleeve hitch, and allows me to rotate, rather than slide the canoe to the front (cab) of the truck.

23 Νοε 2012 · Re: One man canoe loader Is your boat trailer long enough after you loosen the winch clamping bolts & slide the winch assembly foward to what you need ? You can & should bolt 2 on edge 2 x 4" to the trailer cross pieces to provide full canoe stern support.
