11 Οκτ 2010 · Made a simple 1 man canoe loader for about $15-20. It's not a new concept, just a spin on the old one. You'll already need a bike rack - otherwise this idea is not applicable.
Mounting Instructions. Remove ball from trailer hitch. Determine if trailer hitch will be needed at the same time as the Canoe Loader. If hitch ball is needed, (see Fig. 1) place hitch ball into hitch, then slide adaptor plate (Item #1) under hitch, then install hitch ball lock washer and hitch ball hex nut.
23 Νοε 2012 · I plan to use my Chevy Colorado pickup and it needs something to hold up the rear of the canoe, the loader I'm looking at seems to be a good choice, about $100, uses my existing sleeve hitch, and allows me to rotate, rather than slide the canoe to the front (cab) of the truck.
