Today I show you how to make a DIY LED tracing light box. Used 1/4" plexi glass for the tracing surface and pine wood for the box.
Close the lid to the box and voila! Your very own cheap, DIY light box. Now you can trace to your heart's content... but don't forget to turn the lights out when you're done.
I've been wanting to get a light box for a while now, but the ones commercially available are either bulky (with florescent tubes) or expensive (with LEDs). On a recent trip to IKEA, I saw the "Dioder" LED set for about $25 and I got inspired to make my own LED light box at TechShop.
