From what I know, gta5-mods.com is a pretty solid site for GTA V mods. The only thing that I can really recommend, when browsing that site for mods, is to check out the page of someone who makes mods for the game, browse the comments section of that maker and see what comments other people have left that use that same maker's mods for their games.

First, go to the 'scripts' folder inside your GTA 5 game directory and copy the PedSelector.dll file from the download 'scripts' folder to your GTA 5 game directory 'scripts' folder. Then copy AddonPeds Editor.exe and AddonPedsVars.xml files to your GTA 5 game directory. Remember, you can do all this in Open IV as long as you're in edit mode.
