The 10 Ravnica backgrounds blow every other one out of the water by expanding your spell lists. Specifically, the Izzet Engineer adds 15 spells, the most out of the 10, so from an objective standpoint it's the best, but which one is actually best depends on class & what you are intending to do.
Solasta is the best 5e rules game out there. I really love it. Baldurs Gate is the best DND official setting + story (Sword Coast) game, but THACO and the older spell rules will be confusing for people very used to 5e.
