4 Ιαν 2021 · It might be worth considering whether a spear-and-shield build couldn't be a javelin-and-shield build, instead - the javelin has the same melee damage as a one-handed spear attack, it's lighter and much cheaper, and it offers the option of a good heavy ranged stab at need.
25 Ιουν 2017 · This mod started as a revival of DemongelRex mod, free of Spears by Soolie, with my animations and some added bonuses. The original mod offered the possibility to play with spears, bound spears (as 1 hand swords) and javelins (throw able) in Skyrim with different animations in 1st and 3rd person view.
I'm thinking of a spear + shield build (a la Spartan, or Shaka Zulu). Is shield + javelin the most efficient way to do that? Spear has no advantage over javelin if used one-handed (and with a shield, that's the only option), and javelin has a longer range if thrown.
How did you get it to download as a pdf? When I clicked on "get pdf", it just took me to another tab with a non-pdf and brought up the Print option.
Hi everybody, I’ve been thinking about a paladin build using spear and shield but was wondering how viable it would be compared to other options. The idea is to play a variant human so that by lvl 4 I have: Polearm master for the bonus attack among other benefits. Dueling fighting style for the +2 to damage.
A Paladin with a couple level dip at minimum of Hexblade gives you Shield and Blur, you can use charisma as your damage stat for your spear, and makes you SAD and your Aura even more powerful. Paladin Hexblade seems far more optimal for this build, but I’m partial to that multiclass.
