  1. 7 Αυγ 2017 · I assume you have the 42RLE 4-speed transmission. The problem may not be the TC (torque converter) but the symptoms you describe are common with TC problems. There's a TC clutch and there are TC valves in the transmission valve body that control the TC clutch.
