The General Lee (sometimes referred to as simply "the General") is an orange 1969 Dodge Charger driven in the television series The Dukes of Hazzard by the characters the Duke boys, Bo and Luke, along with cousins Coy and Vance (in season 5).

Initially, the General Lee was painted bright Orange with a Confederate Flag centered on the roof and “GENERAL LEE” text on each side of the roof above the side windows.
There was much deliberation over the look of the General Lee (the name actually preceded the car itself), but the bright orange paint, confederate flag on the roof, and unusual 01 on the doors proved to be a good choice, as the legendary scheme is often copied by would-be collectors.
