6 ημέρες πριν · Altitude is defined as "the height of anything above a given planetary reference plane, especially above sea level on earth." In Minecraft, altitude is often expressed as the bottom face of a block layer, where the lowest block that can be placed is at layer -64 and has a Y-coordinate of −64.
It is still beta and 1.7.3 atm, but it works, it really works. And most importantly; it is in active development and fully supported. It is the future of greater height and depth in Minecraft. It has even been proven to work in SMP, in experimental SMP versions available to you.
2 Δεκ 2011 · In the server.properties file, there is a property max-build-height which defaults to 256. Server admins can lower this value to prevent players placing blocks above a certain height, but it will not prevent natural terrain from spawning above this level, or players climbing natural structures above this height.
7 Σεπ 2011 · This means the version of the code Bukkit works with, still has the height values scattered all over the codebase. Finally, from what I've understood, even if that particular variable was setup properly, the client can't deal with a server using a different height value.
I'm struggling to find a mod that can increase the max height of the world that work in 1.8.9 does anyone know of one that exists? I'm planning to build a 1:1 scale replica of the Burj Khalifa in single player.
10 Σεπ 2013 · In Minecraft, you can only build up to a certain height limit (which is something around 256). However, if a player uses mods/hacks to go above the limit (Or simply goes into Creative Mode), then they can go above the height limit.
