- Dock Dogs – The World’s Premier Canine Aquatics Competition
DockDogs was born in 2000 to create a nationally recognized competitive sport based on rules and precedents in Track and Field competitions. Much of DockDogs Big Air Dog competitions’ popularity comes from having national standards and objective measures that allow people to train competitively and have objective feedback on their progress.

The competition was strong, the waves variable, the weather mild, the dogs stoked, and thousands of fans of the sport enjoyed the 4th Annual World Dog Surfing Championships in Pacifica near San Francisco, where over 3 dozen top dog surfers participated in the event.

Canine Aquatic Sport, also known as dock diving or dock jumping, is a sport in which dogs jump from a deck (dock) into a large swimming pool (or body of water) and compete against each other for distance (the long jump for dogs), height (the high jump for dogs) or speed (the sprint for dogs).
