Our brief was to design a new 35,000sqm Campus on a World Heritage site in central Budapest, incorporating all university departments and facilities. The scheme involves the radical transformation of five adjoining, previously disconnected, historic buildings and the construction of two new buildings.
1 Μαρ 2019 · Since 1896. The Central European University (CEU) in Budapest is dedicated to socially and morally responsible intellectual inquiry, open society and open borders, and the first phase of its architectural reconfiguration was completed by O’Donnell + Tuomey in collaboration with local executive architects Teampannon.
