Download GADM data (version 4.1)
The current version is 4.1. It delimits 400,276 administrative areas. You can download the spatial data by country. Downloading by country is the recommended approach. You can also download the data for the entire world. Version 4.1 was released on 16 July 2022. The next release will be in Fall 2023.
Download all vector themes as SHP (576 mb), SQLite (423 mb), or GeoPackage (436 mb). Natural Earth is the creation of many volunteers and is supported by NACIS . It is free for use in any type of project.
SRTM DEM data is being housed on the USGS Earth Explorer. To download, select your area of interest. Under the data sets tab, select Digital Elevation > SRTM > SRTM 1-ArcSecond Global. But here’s a USGS Earth Explorer download guide to help you get started.
