When trying to install any game client (WoW, Diablo IV, etc.) I hit the “install” button on the client and it just spins and spins wi… I’ve downloaded the battle.net desktop application on this brand new PC I just built.
17 Σεπ 2022 · Mine started when I was going to restart WoW and I was met with an update in the battle.net client. I tried to install the update but it was very very slow, like ~80 kb/s. I paused the download and resumed it and it initially went to “normal” download speeds but got stuck at ~80%.
15 Νοε 2022 · Pause the download, close the blizzard launcher, reopen, and resume download. This worked for me. Took only 20s to start downloading after finally getting past the initializing part.
29 Οκτ 2022 · I got it fixed by running the download in safe mode with networking. Though that's more of a bandaid fix because it working under safe mode tells me that there is a conflict with battle.net and some other software.
