  1. 26 Ιαν 2023 · In this publication, we continue our Therapeutic Cheat Sheet series by highlighting the uses of Doxepin in dermatology, which has been described as one of the most impactful oral and topical medications used in the treatment of recalcitrant, chronic itch related to cutaneous disease.

  2. Topical doxepin is used to relieve itching in patients with certain types of eczema. It appears to work by preventing the effects of histamine, which is a substance produced by the body that causes itching.
