Dragoncityguide.net lists if there is a particular dragon needed, but does not list the level/rarity/elements of the other dragons involved. I started late, but I have been taking screenshots of the quests from the start of Dragotron through the early quests of Rockfire.
All Current and Upcoming Quests
Each dragon has to be at least lv15 for the 1st stage with the level requirements working their way up to 30 eventually at a cost of 1.7m food (565k x 3 dragons). I like to level my quest dragons to 40 as soon as I can comfortably afford to, and use the heroic to get all of the quest kills.

Is the Legacy Dragon the only super hard to get dragon required to progress in the quests?
