Drakes are high level Slayer monsters found in the Karuulm Slayer Dungeon. They can drop their claws and teeth, which are used to upgrade the boots of stone and holy sandals into boots of brimstone and devout boots, respectively. These items are five times more common when killed on a Slayer task.
Drakes are wingless dragons found in the middle level of the Karuulm Slayer Dungeon in Mount Karuulm, requiring level 84 Slayer to kill. As they are only found within the volcano, players must wear the boots of stone , boots of brimstone or granite boots to protect themselves from the extreme heat of the dungeon floor.

Drakes are currently my slayer task and I'm finding them difficult. What is your preferred strategy/setup for them?
Drakes are monsters that require 84 slayer to defeat. The require boots of stone, boots of brimstone or granite boots to be able to enter the area to fight them. They are known for their decent loot however have slow xp rates. The fastest experience from Drakes is by using high strength bonus armour with a Dragon Hunter Lance.
