31 Ιουλ 2011 · On to your wiring questions, there are many ways to wire the TCC lock-up function. It just depends on how complicated you want to make it. There are vacuum switches, there are brake light switches, there are toggle switches, you can have it lock up as soon as it goes in 4th by using the pressure switch to ground the circuit.
I think you're correct - it's wired to turn on in 4th (when pressure switch activates) or when the switch is flipped. I'm told that I should try just hooking +12V to Pin A and tape off Pin D. This should set it up so that it only turns on when the car is in 4th and the pressure switch is activated.
You then need to run manifold vacuum to the switch. Finally you will hook the wire from the vacuum switch to the transmission pigtail. Be sure that the wire is matched to the correct connector in the transmission.
