3 Ιουν 2016 · One of my favorite tunings on 5-string is (low to high) CEADG. No special strings required, and easy to switch back and forth between standard tuning (change the lowest string a half step). I don't have a 6-string but imagine CEADGC would be a lot of fun.

Your bass can be tuned to drop C by tuning the strings to CGCF for 4-string basses, and CGCFA for 5-string basses. This can be done with the help of a physical or an online tuner, or by ear using a different instrument.

23 Φεβ 2006 · You can keep up with a guitarist in drop-C tuning because you can reach a low C on the first fret of your B string. Tuning your B up to C would make only a slightly noticeable difference in the feel of the string, and would just lose you your low B.
