Chemical changes in peptide and protein medications have been appeared to improve their enzymatic stability as well as penetration properties. Chemical alterations can likewise be utilized for limiting immunogenicity.
3 Φεβ 2023 · In this chapter we shall describe some of the more common physicochemical properties, how they are calculated and measured, and their impact on medicinal chemistry optimisation.
1 Δεκ 2022 · Biological activity requires a solvent that can provide a suitable environment, which satisfies the twin need for stability and the ability to change. Among all the solvents water plays the most important role.
Solvent free methods benefit from the lack of solvent residue in the sample. Moreover, drug concentration in the final formulation is easily predicted, as it is directly influenced by the ratio between API and mesoporous materials used, therefore concentrations of up to 50% are not unusual.
Among all the solvents water plays the most important role. We review, analyze, and comment on recent works on the structure and dynamics of water around biomolecules and their role in specific biological functions.
In pharmacology, one speaks of pharmaco-dynamic effects to indicate what a drug does to the body, and pharmacokinetic effects to indi-cate what the body does to a drug, two aspects of the behavior of drugs that are strongly inter-dependent.
