17 Οκτ 2024 · From what I know it's an R4v2, I installed wood R4 on it and it works fine with my DS Lite but with my DSi it won't show up at all. My DSi has 1.4.5 installed.
17 Οκτ 2024 · Unfortunately, the late console firmware 1.4.5u blocks some flashcarts from being used. The two available solutions are: a) Install a cfw in the console (https://dsi.cfw.guide/installing-unlaunch), but this procedure has a certain risk ; b) Buy a newer r4 (e.g. chinese r4i gold pro is very cheap and works great).
2 Φεβ 2011 · You'll have to buy a newer R4 card because the bios in the DSi now recognizes the old card and blocks it. You can sell or give your old card to someone who hasn't updated their bios. Get the newest firmware for the new card to be able to the latest rom releases.
My R4 revolution doesn't work on my Dsi pls help. i recomend ditching this R4 and just installing homebrew to the DSi. https://dsi.cfw.guide/. Thats an original R4, nintendo patched the DSi from working with those. You can hack the DSi and the r4 will work again, otherwise you need to use a ds lite.
DSi updated and patched out the R4’s compatibility, run TwilightMenu and you’ll be able to boot any NDS cart regardless of update. It’s how I boot my old “WiFi” R4 on my 3DS
