19 Σεπ 2024 · Good Health Dua in English: Allahumma inni as’alukal-‘afwa wal-‘afiyah fid-dunya wal-akhirah. Translation: O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in this world and the Hereafter. Hadith: The good health dua is extracted from Sunan Abi Dawud 5074.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “There are two blessings which many people lose: (They are) health and free time for doing good.” (Bukhari) For every Muslim, healthy or not, the duas for good health should be a part of our daily duas, and we share five here that are easy to memorize and recite daily.

We make dua for better health so that we can live a more comfortable life. While cupping our hands together, we converse with Allah and repent, give thanks and ask Him for our needs. When done with ultimate sincerity, dua is a form of Ibadah or worship.
Dua for good health in English means O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and in the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my faith, my worldly affairs, my family and my wealth.
