Currently, the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission (PREC) has mutual agreements with six states. They are: Arkansas. Georgia. Louisiana. Maryland. Massachusetts. New York. These states all have standards and requirements like Pennsylvania.
In 2004, legislation authorized the Pennsylvania State Real Estate Commission to enter into reciprocal licensing agreements with other states. Real estate licensees in these states can obtain a reciprocal license without additional education or testing requirements.
In 1990, the State of Georgia created the Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board (GREAB). The Commission performs similar services for appraisers as it does for the real estate licensees.
