5 Σεπ 2019 · Dulux Trade Weathershield Undercoat and Gloss Review. Dulux Trade Weathershield Gloss comes as a three-part system. You have an oil-based primer, undercoat, and then gloss. In my opinion, it is a 4-coat system over bare timber, and 3 over previously painted (2 coats of gloss to give it the flexibility needed for longevity).

31 Ιουλ 2023 · A lot of Decorators go for the hand-in-glove approach, so they’ll use a Dulux undercoat for a Dulux topcoat etc. However, I don’t think it matters too much. All oil-based undercoats, although they range in quality, do the same job. Same with all water-based undercoats, and all adhesion primers.
12 Νοε 2020 · Best Undercoat Paint – The Dulux Primer and Undercoat is undoubtedly the best undercoat for the job, thanks to its high quality protection and doubled functionality as both primer and undercoat. It may not be the cheapest choice for this application, but it’s worth the investment.
Dulux Primer & Undercoat for Multi Surfaces is suitable for interior or exterior wood, metal and masonry surfaces. Thanks to its Quick Dry formulation, it's easy and convenient to use. Please note that highly resinous wood or corroded metal will require a specialist primer.
