29 Αυγ 2023 · SACRAMENTO, Calif.—California State Parks and the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) today announced the expansion of the Golden Bear Pass to participants of California’s Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program, providing free day-use access to more than 200 state parks.
We sell the California Explorer, Golden Poppy, Limited Use Golden Bear, and Disabled Discount passes. Check the California State Parks Passes page for a comprehensive list of all the State Parks Passes.
Other pass programs that provide free access to state parks include the Golden Bear Pass program, which provides CalWORKS recipients free admission to the same parks. Many veterans have free access, and fourth graders have free access to 19 state parks through the Adventure Pass.
