Canna ‘Angelique’ is a dwarf canna lily that grows up to 32 inches tall with large, paddle-shaped leaves that takes on a burgundy/bronze hue. Glorious flowers of pink-apricot rise above the foliage in pure splendor. Blooms summer to frost. Provides subtropical drama for your garden or container.
2 Οκτ 2023 · There are two categories of canna lilies, dwarf and giant. The dwarf varieties have a max height of 3 to 4 feet and giant varieties reach heights of 8 feet or more. Dwarf varieties are excellent in containers or in low garden beds. Giant varieties look best along a building or the edge of a garden.
Dwarf cannas stand 2 to 4 feet tall and are easy to fit into our downsized modern gardens. The ‘ Picasso ’ is a real attention-getter with bright yellow flowers and deep red leopard-like spots; it blooms from July to frost.
Canna cultivars are grown in most countries, even those with territory above the Arctic Circle, which have short summers, but long days, and the rapid growth rate of cannas makes them a feasible gardening plant, as long as they receive 6–8 hours of sunlight each day during the growing season and are protected from the cold of winter.
