This guide describes the most effective methods to train the Farming skill. Farming is a gathering skill which mostly involves the player planting seeds in Farming patches that are found throughout RuneScape, or raising animals in their player-owned farm and at the Anachronia Dinosaur Farm.
This is how I got to 90 farming- doing tree, fruit tree, and herb runs (once a day). This guide is designed for higher leveled players (60-75 farming+), but the locations of the patches can be helpful for any leveled player, just change the seeds used to the best at your current level.

On the south west part of the island you'll find lots of rum berry bushes, pick them till you get 2 rumberry seeds. Then go plant them both in the patch near Tuai Lite bank. They take close to 2 days to grow. You should wiki them really, it has a step by step guide for cross pollination.
Tree patches are a type of Farming patch which require 1 sapling to plant starting at level 15. There are 7 standard tree patches: at Lumbridge , Varrock Castle , Falador Park , Taverley , Gnome Stronghold , Trahaearn district of Prifddinas , and the tier 2 Woodcutter's Grove .
Fruit tree patches are Farming patches used to grow fruit-bearing trees. Growing fruit trees are somewhat different to other plants, in that there is an intermediate growing stage where the seed must be grown into a sapling before being planted into a cleared fruit tree patch.
