24 Απρ 2023 · How I fixed mine: 1. Install the game through Steam, normally. 2. If you don't already have the EA app installed, install it. Note that the game will not be indicated as "Installed" in the EA app. Yet! 3. Now install the game through the EA app and indicate exactly the folder you installed the game through steam.
When I launch the game on steam the game appears to be working fine, sometimes the Easy Anticheat startup shows, sometimes it doesn't, most of the time it doesn't.
Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from. EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair) EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify) Steam - Verify in your library. Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates.
So many are talking about the issue with games not launching since EA changed from Origin to the new EA app. I couldn’t open battlefield 1 or battlefront 2 but I found an easy fix. Simply go into desktop mode, go to the EA website and sign in with your account, then open the game you’re having issues with (in desktop mode).
Enable Beta UTF-8 Option: In the "Region Settings" window, check the box next to "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support." Click "OK" to apply the changes. Restart Your Computer: You will need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
Since the launch of the new "EA Desktop" beta app... i've been having issues launching games purchased through Steam and launching them through Steam. On the original "Origin" app no problems..... but I'm sure this is an issue.
Being up-to-date may fix your issue. If updating Windows doesn’t fix the issue or if your computer is up-to-date, download the DirectX End-User Runtime Installer. This will install any missing libraries needed to use the EA app. Close the EA app on your computer.
