7 Ιαν 2021 · PH (2.0mm pitch) This 2.0mm pitch connector is very commonly seen in low cost consumer electronics as well as a plenitude of pre-fabricated hobbyist PCBs and parts. They’re dirt cheap, reasonably compact but not particularly robust. A similar dual row type is also available (PHD) however using different contacts.
16 Δεκ 2022 · The female PH has a wide cut out and two holes at the bottom (2 mm pin spacing), whereas the XH has two slots from the top towards the bottom (2.5 mm pin spacing). Here is an example with 6 pins PH vs XH

JST also makes XH (2.54 pitch, used for balance connextors), and SH (1.25 is common between FC and ESC, 1.0 is also sometimes found on quads to). If you get into fixed-wing or single rotor helis, you'll come across the red "JST" connectors -- these are JST RCY series.

Possibility 1 - These are not JST connectors, and are indeed 2.54 pitch. If so, what is the correct mating connector in KiCAD for these off brand connectors? Possibility 2 - These are fully JST XH compatible, and are actually 2.5mm pitch.
