Avoid Iowa Wine Tours, Inc. 13 years ago. Based out of Dubuque. Cancelled the four-hour, three-winery tasting trip three hours prior to tour by leaving a message with the desk clerk at hotel, instead of calling directly. Furthermore, now REFUSES to REFUND $130 for cost of trip.
Let me start off by saying, I am not someone who often writes reviews, especially negative ones. However, I wish to give this review as a cautionary measure to anyone looking to book a large group tour with Iowa Wine Tours. They have no problem cancelling one week before your event.

Iowa Wine Tours should have a non-refundable cancellation policy and if they do indeed, it shouldn't have mattered if others cancelled or not. When Dennis called me he informed me he would be taking a loss for the tour by only taking the 3 of us.
