Bangladesh Naval Academy is a reputed military academy for naval training in South Asia. It was established in 1976 at the premises of the Mercantile Marine Academy at Juludia, Chittagong, later shifted to BNS Issa Khan in Chittagong to train the cadets of the Bangladesh Navy.

The Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) is a tri-services volunteer reserve defence force comprising the Army, Navy and Air Force wing for school, college and university students. It is the second line of defence headed by Bangladesh Army.
The officer has also been awarded with the Navy medal of excellence NUP, for his dedicated service to the Navy. Prior to completing National Defence Course at NDC in 2016, he served as Directing Staff (Professor) at the Armed Forces War Course Wing at National Defence College for three consecutive academic years (2013-2015).

Bangladesh Navy Officer Cadet 2025-A Batch circular is open with online application deadline March 31, 2024. Both male and female aged between 16 & a half years and 21 as on January 1, 2025 are eligible for application.
Bangladesh Naval Academy (BNA) the premier institution of Bangladesh Navy for education and basic training of the young cadets emerging as naval officer. It was established temporarily in the premises of Bangladesh Marine Academy at Jaldia in Chittagong in 1976 with only 14 cadets.
